It was a red letter day in the diocese of Nalgonda as we had the inauguration and the consecration of the church of Mary Help of Christians and the blessing and inauguration of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. We were indeed glad and joyous to mark this great event which is a sign of Blessing from the Lord through intercession of Our blessed Mother. His Lordship Rt Rev Msgr Govindu Joji the Bishop of Nalgonda Diocese was the main celebrant for this blissful gathering. Rev Fr Bala Raju the Provincial of Salesian Province of Hyderabad was present along with 100 priests who had witnessed this grace-filled event.
Besides these there were other religious, neighboring Catholic families, Parents of the Children, Staff, and students of Don Bosco Academy who were present for the gathering. They were all together 2000 faithful witnessed the blessings of God in the Diocese of Nalgonda through the instrumentality of the Salesians of Don Bosco. Rev Fr Anand, the Rector of Don Bosco Academy was the backbone of the community in all actions and animations that happen in this massive project which servers thousands of young people in the Diocese. He was immensely happy about the celebration and he thanked all the community members who were part of this great mission in the diocese. All the religious and the faithful were happy as they witnessed the blessings of God. They had a delicious meal along with the Blessing of God and joyfully returned to their homes.
