Don Bosco Junior college, Chandur – 18 and 19 Oct: “Your visit is a blessing to our community” was the utmost ringing slogan in Don Bosco Chandur on the two day visit of Provincial. The entire campus was on the top of its joyful tones with the presence of Provincial, Fr. Raminedi Balaraju . The Confreres, staff and college students grabbed this great opportunity to admire and appreciate provincial for his fatherly presence in Chandur.
The grand reception was given to the provincial accompanied by the community members, the Rector Fr. K.K. Joseph, the Administrator Fr. Anthaiah and the Principal Fr. Bhaskar with the colourful umbrellas, Bosco flags, slogans and followed by the aspirants Band.
The staff and the students expressed the joy of his presence among them in the college with well prepared cultural programme, in which the provincial was honoured with great respect and love. The provincial encouraged all the students by saying, MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
The provincial spent the time with the aspirants making them known the importance of religious vocation and God’s call. He emphasized to cultivate the habit of reading and know more about Don Bosco during this Bi-Centenary year of Don Bosco’s birth.
The important event of this visit was the blessings of the new statue of Mary Help of Christians in front of the main gate, which brought many faithful to honour our Blessed Mother.
The Provincial visit has revealed and fulfilled the words of Don Bosco “The visit of the superiors brings blessings to the community”. This visit helped to experience the touch of Don Bosco. – BIS –
