Bicentenary celbration  (5)“Don Bosco” is the only word heard everywhere and from everyone in the whole academy. In whatever the community and students did, is done for Don Bosco. Such is their love towards this Father of the Young. Rev. Govindu Joji, the Bishop of Nalgonda presided over both the inauguration ceremony and the Holy Eucharist.

19Amidst the band and the escort of fathers, brothers, sisters, teachers and the students, the Bishop was welcomed to the new bicentenary block.9 The bishop inaugurated the primary school block by cutting the ribbon and breaking the coconut. He expressed his happiness towards Fr. Rector for his hard work and dedication for the up-liftment of the rural children of Nalgonda. Further in procession with palanquin holding Don Bosco, whole of the academy proceeded towards the Church. There Don Bosco was paid homage by the Bishop, priests and the religious. 200 children carrying 200 balloons released them into air symbolically as the sign of celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by his 12Lordship for the Salesian congregation and for the academy. All the students and staff took part in the Holy Mass. Fr. Rector thanked the superiors and all the benefactors for their generosity and willingness to help the poor youth. A special thanks forFr. Balashowry, Fr. Arogyaswamy, Fr. Vijay and all the Brothers for their sincere efforts to make the day a joyful and meaningful one. “Jaiho Don Bosco!”
