DBNJ is blessed with 30KV Solar Power Unit through the support of BEKO Technologies, Germany.
Another memorable day in the annals of Don Bosco Navajeevan Rehabilitation Centre, on 9 March, 2018 as there was the official blessing and inauguration of the SOLAR POWER UNIT sponsored by BEKO Technologies.
We are grateful to Mr Norbert Strack, CEO of BEKO Technologies, Germany, Mr Manfred Lehner, MD, BEKO Technologies, Germany, Mr Madhusudan Masur, MD, BEKO Technologies, India, Ms Anusha, HR Manager, BEKO, India and Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar Provincial for their presence and support towards Don Bosco Navejeevan, Ramanthapur.
The programme began with a solemn welcome by Bosco Band boys followed by welcome song and garlanding guests. Then the gathering moved on to where the solar panels were fixed for the blessing and inauguration of the same. Fr Provincial prayed and blessed the solar power unit, which was then inaugurated by Mr Norbert and the commemorative plaque was opened by Mr Manfred from BEKO Technologies. Fr Sudhakar Bellamkonda Director of DBNJ Homes presented the Memento prepared for the occasion to the guests. They also gave small message to the students and staff. Mr Norbert said, it is win-win programme for BEKO and Don Bosco because it speaks much about BEKO and also it is directly benefiting the children in the institution. Mr Manfred expressed his happiness the way it is set up professionally and it is going be helpful to the most deserving children. Mr Madhusudan MD BEKO India was exited with Solar power unit and congratulated Don Bosco team and expressed his joy the way it is set up. Fr Provincial in his short message thanked BEKO representatives for support this project.
Then the guests moved towards visiting the Vocational training centre in the campus. They visited the Bakery, Welding section, carpentry section, Electrical & plumbing, Tailoring & garment making, Printing press and DTP. They were impressed with the work and also gave their valuable feedback.
