Three months orientation programme earns jobs for the youngsters who are Below the Poverty Line (BPL). EGMM-DB Tech is a short term employment crash course organized by DB Tech in close collaboration with the Government of India to eradicate the problem of unemployment. On 14 of August there was a certificate distribution ceremony for the students who passed out of EGMM-DB Tech programme from Don Bosco Tech, Bandlaguda branch, Hyderabad. The ceremony started at 4 in the evening. There were around 120 students present for the programme and 40 students of the previous batch who were already employed in BPO and Hotel mangement sectors received their certificates from the Chief Guest,Mr Ravinder Dutt the Revenue Inspector of the locality. Along with the Chief Guest there were also other dignitaries like Fr Raminedi Balaraju the Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad, Fr Puthussery Sojan the Center Head of DB Tech Bandlaguda, Mr Venkata Reddy the Village Revenue Officer and Mr V. Chakradhar DB Tech State Project coordinator were present for the occasion.
Mr Ravinder Dutt in his speech encouraged the students to work hard to get much higher jobs instead of compromising with current work. "You are always welcome to Don Bosco institution" was the gracious invitation made by Fr Balaraju to the past pupil of the batch. There was also a small cultural programme organized by the students of the current batch.
