Department of P.G Studies at Don Bosco Academy (Nalgonda)The Don Bosco Academy, Nalgonda affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University is crowned with two more post graduation courses, MSW and MA (English Literature). This expansion gives the rural youth of the area more options in choosing their careers. The Don Bosco Academy already has the M.Sc.-Chemistry and M.Com departments. MSW has significance particularly in the district of Nalgonda as there is an immense scope for social work in uplifting the marginalized.
MSW is a post graduate course in social work. The course is designed to provide practical field exposure to the students along with their theoretical academic studies. It is divided into four semesters. Thanks to the efforts of Fr Gopu Anand, the Director of the Academy and Fr Balashowry the principal of the Degree and P.G College in realizing this dream.
