Don Bosco  Provincial house , Hyderabad has hosted province level Salesian Family Day. 85 representatives of salesian family comprising of Salesian Sisters, Cooperators, past pupils, Sisters of Mary Immaculate, Sisters of Maria Auxiliatrix, members of the secular institute Disciples of Christ and many others are present for the ocassion on 18th of this month. Under the able guidence of Fr Yeruva Joji, The delegate for salesian family, the programme is being chalked out in a meaningful manner.

Fr Raminedi Balaraju, the Provincial animated the inaugural session by presenting the strenna of 2013. Enumerating the congregation's approach towards the bicentenary celebrations of the birth of Don Bosco he encouraged the participants to work for the development of youth groups in the province which also serve as hotbeds for vocation promotion.

Highlighting on the uniqueness of the Salesian Family members in his homely Fr Vijaya Bhaskar, the Vice – Provincial, exhorted everyone present, to live up to the demands of the society in the service of the young.

Post lunch session is the crux of the day's programme. Each of the Representatives from all the branches is given the opportunity to share their experiences as members of the Salesian family. There are message oriented performances, comedy shows, action songs, party games and dances. The day's event came to an end by drawing an action plan with the help of group discussiions. As all the members held their hands, singing ' bind us together Lord' a fitting conclusion is given to the event.
