Pre-novices of Don Bosco minor seminary at Gunadala (5 Kms away from Vijayawada) attended a seminar on 'Salesian Brotherhood' Br Gregory the first Salesian Brother of St Joseph's Province of Hyderabad was the resourse person for this seminar which was held on 21 of November. Through this seminar, the charism, spirituality, life and mission of the Salesian brother are explicitly made known to the sixteen pre-novices from Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
Br Gregory interacting with pre-novicesSalesian brotherhood is a challenging way of life designed by Don Bosco which is an amalgamation of lay and religious elements. A Salesian brother being simple in his shirt sleeves work closely with the young in a religious way supporting the Salesian mission. In this way he shows youngsters the life that he lives, offers them an example to live by; as we all know that if words can move people to do things, examples attract them! Jesus Himself lived His whole life as a brother till He instituted the sacrament of Holy Eucharist. This life of Jesus certainly manifests who a Salesian brother is.
