Fr. Justin's presentation spoke mainly about the year of faith. He asserted that this year of faith is an opportunity for the Catholics to know the need and rediscover their faith inorder to make strong relationship with Christ. God himself has opened the door of faith for the early Church. God always invites us to step through the threshold of faith to have a deeper relationship with him. Thus this year of faith is an opportunity for every Catholic to turn towards Jesus Christ, encounter Him in the Sacraments, especially in the Eucharist thus rediscovering the Faith and the Church. The door of faith is always open for us, ushering into the life of communion with God and offering entry into his Church.
Sometime was allotted for the group discussion on the questions given by the preacher concerning the need to know and rediscover one’s faith and also enabling the neighbour to live their faith thus making people to transmit their faith to the future generation. A clarion call was made by the preacher for the religious to become persons of faith.
The post lunch session was animated by the president Fr Gopu Anand who had led the congregation into a prayerful adoration and a symbolic holy Eucharist with the exchanging of gifts was more meaningful. The celebrations concluded with of gifts and greetings.
