Don Bosco Academy Inaugurates Ninth de-fluoridated Water Plant at Mushampalli Village

Don Bosco Academy has fulfilled its dream of providing nine villages with safe drinking water by installing de-fluoridated drinking water plants. Witnessing these devastating living conditions in the district with regard to drinking water; the Salesians of Don Bosco have come forward to set up safe Drinking water plants in 9 villages of the District, this academic year 2012-2013. The works have begun and 8 mineral water plants have been inaugurated in different villages by His Lordship Most Rev. Govindu Joji, the Bishop of Nalgonda. The 9th water plant has been installed at Mushampalli village, Nalgonda Dist on 5th of January. With this installation of de-fluoridated water plant, six villages around the mushampalli village are going to get the purified drinking water. More than 32,000 people are the beneficiaries of this generous venture. In the presence of Mr. Innareddy a close collaborator of the Academy, Fr. Balashowry, the Principal of Don Bosco Degree and PG College, The second and final year degree students of Don Bosco Academy and hundreds of villagers around Fr Anand, the Director of Don Bosco Academy and has inaugurated the ninth water plant in the village. Addressing the villagers in his inaugural speech Fr Anand thanked all those who have contributed to accomplish this endeavour and reiterated that Don Bosco Academy has been working selflessly for the upliftment of the poor in the neighbourhood. Fr . Balashowry in his speech talked about the importance of drinking water in one's daily life. Handouts about the de-fluoridated drinking water plant and the benefits  of drinking pure water are distributed among the villagers after the programme.
