Don Bosco Navajeevan, Ramanthapur on 26th january celebrated the 64th republic day in its campus. The campus is well decorated with the colours of patriotism. Mr. Lakshmareddy the chief guest and congress secretary of greater Hyderabad hoisted the national flag. Fr balashowry, Director of the institution and the staff along with the children of the campus and from the neighborhood were present for the occasion. Students performed a band piece and few other cultural programmes which depicted the rich heritage of India. The chief guest was taken up by the children’s unity their multitalented personalities. in his welcoming remarks he appreciated the salesians for their pioneering work and described them as the lovers of children and youth. He also reiterated that the children at risk in Andhra Pradesh are constantly supported by Don Bosco Navajeevan centers. The ceremony culminated with the national anthem and the release of colorful balloons.
