Grand National Science day was held at Don Bosco Academy, Nalgonda on 28th of February. The students of Don Bosco High School Nalgonda exhibited various scientific inventions and models that would enhance the hygienic conditions of the area. Fr. Anand, the director of the academy, on this occasion said that students need to create the scientific attitudes and values to welcome a balanced growth and newness at every stage to form a better society. Fr. Bhalashowry, the principal of Degree and PG College addressing the staff and students continued saying that 'there is a great need for empowering the people in the field of science.' Fr. Bhaskar the head master of Don Bosco School also spoke on this occasion.

The science exhibition was inaugurated by Fr. Thumma Antony, the Rector of St. Joseph Hostel Nalgonda. Students from different classes exhibited their creative items in their respective class rooms. Number of visitors from the town of nalgonda and students from various schools came to see these exhibits and enjoyed the presentation. During the closing ceremony Fr Bhaskar appreciated the students for putting in lot of hard work to make this day a memorable one.
