April 23rd: Students of Don Bosco PG College organized an annual farewell party for the 67 outgoing students of the college. The Chief Guest of the programme Fr. Gopu Anand, the Director of Don Bosco Academy on this occasion recalled the accomplishments of the students and encouraged them to render their selfless services to the society. Fr. Balashowry, the principal of Don Bosco PG College, Fr. Bhaskar, the Head Master of Don Bosco High School and all the staff members were present for the occasion.
Mrs. Theresa one of the PG students led the crowd into prayerful mood by invoking God’s blessing upon the gathered. Although the party carried a tinge of sadness, the students had fun as they enjoyed every moment with their best buddies. All the outgoing students manifested their oneness with the institution by joining hands with the vibrant Don Bosco Past Pupils wing of Nalgonda district. Fr Bhaskar organized a solemn oath taking ceremony of the new past pupil and welcomed them into the Salesian family. Number of students exhibited their talents as the audience whooped with laughter. Degree girls received a huge round of applause for their Rhythmic steps for the song “Babri girl” from a movie "Mirchi." Students and teachers laughed as Mr. Ramarao one of the students of PG, enthralled the crowd with his funny jokes and mimicry. To add some fun to the farewell party, students were also given specific titles based on their unique personality. Sumptuous meal was offered at the end of the programme to all.
