May 20: Don Bosco, Gunadala concluded its second vocation camp of the year on 19th of this month. 70 students from different districts of Andhra Pradersh attended this one week's camp. The Rector of the community Fr. Rayappa, the director of Don Bosco Gunadala, guided students with his talks on God’s call. Inspirational talks were given by Fr. Thota Mariadas, Fr. P. Jayapaul, Fr. Vidya Sagar, Fr. R. Thomas and Fr. Kishore to the students. The life of Don Bosco was told in detail. Bro. Gregory shared his profound understanding and the relevance of brotherhood and priesthood to the students. The pilgrimage to Pedda Avutapalli and to Gunadala Matha shrine served its purpose in developing Christian devotion in the young minds. The students are kept busy with competitions to realize their own capabilities. The family atmosphere created by the Silesians in the campus enabled these youngsters to express their creativity. Spiritual animation was done regularly through well organized Holy Eucharist, morning prayer, Rosary and evening prayer. The success of these camps was certainly due to the dedicated core team which includes Fr. Rayappa, Bro. Gregory, Fr. Joji, the vocation promoter Bros. Simharayulu, P. Jeevan and Raju.
