May 25: Don Bosco Academy officially concluded the 6th annual summer camp on 24th of the month. 300 children and youngsters form different villages from the district of Nalgonda attended this one month's camp.  Besides intense training on English language, the youth were also fitted out with games, dances and quiz programmes for an all-round development. On Friday for the concluding ceremony Fr. P. Arogyam, the Vicar general of the Diocese was called as the chief guest. Fr Anand, the director of the academy has taken this opportunity to let the students know the importance of studying smart than studying hard. This conclusion ceremony of the camp served as a farewell to these youngsters as well. Students with creative cultural programmes unleashed their energy through activities  like dances, skits, and songs. Certificates along with Prizes to the meritorious students were given away by the director at the end of the programme. The management of the institution expressed its pride in hosting this camp for the rural and underprivileged youth of the district as they have been doing for past six years. The feeling of gratitude sprouted out spontaneously from the youngsters as many of them without intimating appeared on the dais to thank the institution and the director for the services rendered and the inputs given.
