DISHA Don Bosco, in partnership with the National Career Service (NCS), held an inspiring job mela On July 5th, 2024, at St Theresa’s Parish, Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad. The event aimed to connect job seekers with potential employers, fostering employment opportunities.
The day began with an enthusiastic introduction by Fr. Justin, the in-charge of DISHA Don Bosco. He welcomed everyone and set a hopeful tone for the event. Following this, Fr V. Rayappa gave a keynote address and emphasized the importance of initiatives one like these to help job seekers to find meaningful employment. After the Inauguration job mela was kick started and continued up to 4pm.
The job mela saw an impressive turnout, with 18 companies setting up booths and conducting interviews. A total of 244 eager and hopeful candidates attended, each one bringing their own skills and aspirations to the table. The atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation and determination as job seekers made their best impressions.
The DISHA Don Bosco and NCS job mela was a resounding success, demonstrating the power of collaboration in creating employment opportunities. The dedication of Fr. Justin along with team the enthusiastic participation of companies and candidates, made the event memorable. The selected candidates 134 of them who walked away with job offers are a testament to the event’s positive impact, and their success stories inspire hope for future initiatives.
