The Hyderabad Don Bosco YaR Network team gathered in Hyderabad from 15th to 17th July for a significant training session on the newly developed Home Link DIGI network app by Don Bosco YaR Delhi. This innovative software focuses on modern methods of documenting children’s profiles, aimed at enhancing data security and child welfare.
Fr. Neelam Ratna Kumar SDB, the Hyderabad province Hub director, in his welcoming address warmly welcomed all participants. He emphasized the importance of this new documentation tool, highlighting its potential to revolutionize the way children’s profiles are managed.
Mr. David, the Senior Program Manager, and the keynote speaker of the event underscored the significance of adopting new documentation methods. He eloquently described how mobile technology can simplify and enhance data management with minimal effort. Mr. David urged participants to engage earnestly with the new app to ensure data security and uphold the best interests of the children.
Following the welcome and keynote addresses, Fr. Joe Prabhu, the Executive Director of YaR, took the participants on a nostalgic journey, recounting the origins of the Home Link initiative. This session set the stage for understanding the evolution and importance of the new software.
The three-day Software training session was conducted by professional resource persons providing participants with a comprehensive overview of the new software. The session was interactive, with participants showing great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about the app.
The participants left the session motivated and equipped with the knowledge to implement the Home Link DIGI network app. The commitment to secure data management and the welfare of children was reaffirmed throughout the meeting.
