Hyderabad, May 24, 2025 — In a profound celebration of faith and dedication, seven Salesian clerics made their Perpetual Profession on Saturday evening at the Don Bosco Shrine, Bandlaguda Jagir, Hyderabad. The solemn Holy Eucharistc celebration was preceded by Rev. Fr. Santiagu Thomas SDB, Provincial of the Province of St. Joseph, Hyderabad.

The brothers who made their perpetual vows were Cl. Anup Sabha Nayak, Cl. Budramgalla Hrudaya Raju, Cl. Dekkala Uday Kumar, Cl. Narisetti Bala Ashwith, Cl. Pasala Arogya Naveen, Cl. Pinninti Sagar, and Cl. Samuel Baliarsingh.

In his homily, Fr. Santiagu highlighted the depth of commitment demanded by the Salesian vocation. He called for total surrender to God, a willingness to be broken, and the grace to become a blessing for others. He reminded the gathered faithful that the consecrated life is not meant for personal gain or self-glory, but rather, it is a life freely offered in service to others.

The event was attended by Salesians, religious, family members, and numerous well-wishers who gathered to support and celebrate the seven brothers on this significant spiritual journey.

Fr. Garlapati Michael Kishore SDB, Vice Provincial, expressed his joy over the deepening commitment of the young Salesians, describing the day as “a moment of grace and great hope for the province and the Church.” The newly professed brothers and their parents were honored during the ceremony for their courageous witness and generous offering to God.

The celebration concluded with a fellowship meal, reflecting the spirit of unity, gratitude, and joy that marked this blessed occasion.
