Khammam, June 28, 2025 — A remarkable turnout of over 780 enthusiastic youth marked the success of the JobMela organized by Don Bosco Dhisha, Hyderabad,, in collaboration with the Diocese of Khammam, as 467 candidates secured employment across diverse sectors including IT, banking, manufacturing, medical, and service industries.

The high-impact employment drive was graced by Most Rev. Bishop Prakash Sagili, Bishop of Khammam Diocese, who served as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering at the inaugural ceremony, Bishop Sagili inspired the youth, saying, “Youth is an age where we must prove our capacities before it vanishes. Today you are job seekers; tomorrow, strive to become job givers.”

The event also witnessed the presence of key dignitaries: Fr. Sarath BSK, Director of Don Bosco Dhisha; Fr. Thomas, Principal of Kristu Jyothi College; and Fr. Justin, Director of Dhisha.

Reflecting on the event’s impact, Fr. Justin remarked, “This event has been a beacon of hope for the youth. We are grateful for the support of Bishop Prakash and the dedicated clergy of the Diocese of Khammam.”

With 27 leading companies participating, the JobMela served as a vibrant platform connecting rural and urban youth with meaningful employment opportunities — a testament to the Salesian mission of transforming lives through education and empowerment.
