On 21st December 2013, on the occasion of Semi Christmas celebration at Don Bosco Academy Nalgonda, Rev. Fr. Raminedi Balaraju SDB, the provincial of Hyderabad, inaugurated and blessed the new hostel building for the girls at Don Bosco Academy, by cutting the ribbon and unvailing the stone. On the occasion Fr. Provincial congratulated and appreciated Rev. Fr. Anand SDB the rector, Fr. Balashowry SDB the Principal, Fr. Bhaskar SDB the Head Master and Bro. Gregory for their relentless 
efforts and hard work for the betterment of the poor and the marginalized youth of the locality. A felicitation programme was arranged and Fr. Recotor was felicitated by the provincial for all his hard work and visions for the youth. Semi Christmas Eucharist was celebrated in the new chapel for all the teaching staff of the Academy and also a festive delicious dinner was provided for all the collaborators of the project.
