The 27th General Chapter elected as the new Vicar of the Rector Major, Fr Francesco Cereda, until now Councillor for Formation and is currently also a regulator of the GC27.
"I'm happy to work as Vicar of the Rector Major, Don Ángel, I will try to be faithful in this ministry and with the help of Mary Help of Christians, accept it." These were thewords spoken by Fr Cereda to give his availability to the election of the General Chapter.
