Training Programme on MACS Act for SHG’s @ Don Bosco, Hyderabad
The Bosco Seva Kendra (BSK) the Development Office of Salesian Province of Hyderabad had organized one day training programme on MACS Act for all the Coordinators working in Mutually Accredited Cooperatives Societies (MACS) in our Province on 14th June 2014 in Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad. There are 24 MACS in 17 districts of Andhra Pradesh run by Bosoco Seva Kendra.
On 14th morning, at 10.00 a.m we had inaugural talk by Fr.Thomas Santiagu, the BSK Director. During the Inaugural talk Fr. Thomas welcomed all the participants to Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad for the training programme and urged the participants to make use of the opportunity given to get familiarize with MACS Acts. Fr. Thomas Santiagu introduced Fr.P.Arul Das as the newly appointed Assistant Director of BSK to the participants and welcomed him on behalf of all the participants. In the afternoon we had business session on the functioning of the MACS, each coordinator presented their MACS status. The Coordinators’ with the help of Director prepared Business Development Plan (BDP) for the year 2014-15. In the evening Fr.Thomas had conducted review meeting for all the MACS. Fr.R.Balaraju, the Provincial addressed the gathering and he interacted with coordinator and asked about their MACS status and he congratulated the participants for the services rendered to the poor and needy women and Youth in the rural areas through SHG’s under the banner of BSK.
