DB Tech skill training centre located at Don Bosco Bandlaguda Jagir has successfully completed five batches of livelihood training programs. Recently the sixth batch of Retail Marketing domain comprising of 38 trainees completed the training and all them were job placed. This training programme has been initiated for enhancing the skill development and employability of youngsters aimed at mainstreaming, ensuring employability and economic security for the youth. Last three months, trainees were given training in retail sales along with spoken English, Personality development and computer training.The training also includes seminars, workshops, guest lectures by subject experts, Industrial visits, on the job training also are part of this programme. We are grateful to Fr. Sojan Puthussery sdb (Centre Head, DB Tech, Bandlaguda) for his guidance and support. Fr. P. Arul Das sdb (State Head, DB Tech, Hyderabad Province) gave his best wishes to all the trainees for the bright future ahead. The function ended with a happy note from the trainees that they would bring more candidates to take part in DB Tech’s mission ‘Skilling India’.
