The recruitment drive attracted a strong response from job aspirants across the region. Out of 525 candidates onboarded for the event, 473 actively participated in the recruitment process. Twenty-three reputed companies from various sectors took part, offering diverse employment opportunities. Following multiple rounds of screening, 141 candidates were selected on the spot, while another 162 candidates were shortlisted for subsequent rounds of selection.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Most Rev. Paul Prakash Saginala DD, Bishop of Kadapa, along with Fr. George, Rector of Don Bosco ITI, Kadapa. The event also saw the participation of Rev. Fr. He commended Don Bosco institutions for their consistent commitment to the holistic development of young people, especially those from marginalized backgrounds.
The organisers credited the seamless coordination between Don Bosco DHISHA, NCS, and APSDC for the smooth conduct of the drive. Employers also expressed satisfaction with the quality and preparedness of the candidates.
The job drive marked a significant milestone in Don Bosco ITI Kadapa’s ongoing efforts to promote skill development and job placement. By creating direct employment pathways for youth, the initiative reaffirmed Don Bosco’s mission of empowering young job seekers and strengthening the region’s skilled workforce.
