Blood is meant to Circulate, Pass it Around and You don’t need to be a doctor to save lives, Just Donate Blood, were the vibes at Viswa Jyothi College, Don Bosco Philosphate, Karunapuram On 19th July 2017. The students of Vishwa Jyothi College donated blood to the Indian Red Cross Society, Warangal with the due permission and exhortation of Rev. Fr Tom Parecattil, the Principal of Don Bosco Philosophate. Like every other year a team from Indian Red Cross Society came to collect blood from the college students which will be stored in the blood bank for poor and needy.
Doing charity to poor and needy either directly or indirectly brings the lasting sense of joy and satisfaction. The mere fact of feeling for humanity fills one’s life with peace and serenity, and enthuses with hope the heart and mind that the Kingdom of God is close at hand. Quite many students willingly volunteered to donate blood with the sole feeling of sharing their life with the needy. Moreover, some of them taking the example of Jesus 
who gave his blood to redeem humanity from sin and thereby opened the gate to eternal life said that they are just donating blood so that some poor people could live their earthly life a little longer. A charitable act like blood donation is only a sign which speaks in volumes about the inner state of the soul of all those volunteered to donate. May the act of these students inspire many more people to enhance the life of others with the blessings they have received.
