Bishop Marampudi Joji was nominated the Bishop of Khammam on 31st January, 1992. From that day on, his one dream was to have the salesians of Don Bosco in his diocese for educational and pastoral work. An invitation to this effect was extended to the Provincial of the new Province, Fr. Benjamin Puthota. After a careful study by the Provincial Council, the offer was accepted.
