Don Bosco Chandur, 09 November 2020: The Vocational Guidance Commission Meet began with a theme ‘Vocation is the crown of youth ministry’ to review the vocational guidance and its SEPP. It is to understand and deepen the animation programme of the dimension. Fr Ramanedi Balaraju, the Rector the Community welcomed the gathering and briefed about the Aspirantate, and the Junior College at Chandur. Fr Karunaraj Gabriel sdb, National Delegate for Vocational Dimension & National Coordinator- JPN, Fr Thomas Santiagu sdb, Vice-Provincial, the delegate for Youth Ministry of the Province of St Joseph, Hyderabad, Fr Rayulu Sarath Parri sdb, INH Delegate for Vocational Guidance Dimension, the members of the commission Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar sdb, Fr Kalukula Rajesh, Fr Anil Mallavarapu sdb and Fr Ramanedi Balaraju, the Rector were present for the meeting.
Fr Karunaraj Gabriel sdb, animated the session creating a space to taste the essence of the dimension and elaborated the meaning of vocational dimension. Fr Rayulu Sarath Parri sdb, presented the annual report of Vocation Promotion along with the Salesian Educative Pastoral Plan (SEPP) of Vocational Dimension of the province of St Joseph, Hyderabad. The floor has suggested ideas in deepening the SEPP. Mr Mohan Chilaka, the coordinator of Dhisha (Don Bosco Centre for Job Placement & Career Guidance) and JPN (National Job Placement Network) presented the annual report of Job Placement Cell in the Province.
The delegates, members of the commission interacted with the aspirants, shared views, and their vocation stories. The aspirants were motivated by the inspiring experiences and vocation stories. The members decided to prepare a three-year SEPP to animate the province in a better manner. The commission members appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality of the Chandur Community. The commission meet ended with a vote of thanks by Fr Rayulu Sarath Parri.
