Don Bosco Human Resource and Development Centre (DBHRDC), Gagillapur, Hyderabad, 19 January 2021: DBHRDC, Gagillapuram conducted the Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the 2nd Batch of Tailoring students. There were 15 trainees who successfully completed the training. Shri Daniel Thomas, the CEO of Niehoff Pvt. Ltd., India was the Chief Guest, and other dignitaries were Rev. Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar, the Director of Bosco Seva Kendra, Rev. Fr Parri Sarath, Assistant Director and in-charge of DBHRDC, Sisters from JMJ, DBHRDC and BSK Staff.

Fr Sudhakar welcomed the Chief Guest Mr. Daniel Thomas and the gathering for Certification ceremony and updated the activities carried at DBHRDC, Gagillapur. He said that the centre has helped in training over 3,000 poor youth since its inception in 2009. Quoting the saying of Don Bosco “Run, jump, shout, but do not sin”, he exhorted them to be an example in following the footsteps of Don Bosco and be a model for other youth while always thinking good of others. He personally thanked Mr Daniel Thomas the CEO of Niehoff Pvt. Ltd., India for his presence and appreciated the support and collaboration extended for the poor and the marginalized children in the field of education and the staff at DBHRDC who accompanied them in a meticulous training.

Mr Daniel Thomas, in his message appreciated the great work executed by Don Bosco Human Resource Centre. He recalled his childhood days where he was educated in Don Bosco School, Tirupattur, Tamilnadu. He also remembered his poor and modest background. He spoke about three important things necessary for the entrepreneurship, the quality & service, Price and timely delivery of products which are the key elements for success of any business. In addition, there were also a few past pupils who gave their testimony about their job placement during lockdown period and their plans for future to look after their parents.

The trainees whole heartedly extended their gratitude to Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Fr Parri Sarath and the other trainers for granting them an opportunity to attend such a useful and skill-oriented training and making it successful. The girls performed cultural items and received a sewing machine on their graduation day from DBHRDC. All the trainees were prompted to earn their livelihood through a new skill in tailoring. Fr Sarath proposed a vote of thanks.
