Don Bosco academy Nalgonda has conducted parents meet on 9th of February. The meeting commenced with a short prayer at 10am in the morning in the college auditorium. The meeting was chaired by Fr. Anand, the director of Don Bosco Academy, Fr. Balashowry the principal of Degree and P.G College and Fr. Bhaskar the head master of Don Bosco School. 600 Parents attended this meet.
Fr. Anand the director at the very outset extended his words of welcome to all the parents and the teachers. Mrs. Sunita, a teacher, delivered her speech on the role of the parents in educating their children. Fr. Bhalashowry the principal then made a speech in which he emphasized on the changes in the system of education. He enlightened parents on new system of education CCE (Continues Comprehensive Evaluation). In fact the purpose of the meeting in the words of Fr Balashowry is to make the parents understand about the changes in the current educational system and its relevance today. He also reiterated that the parents need to understand the new system and empower their children to shine out in their life and carrier. The speech has a made a profound impact on the parents and brought out positive responses from them. The parents meet has become an interactive one as the parents are allowed to express their opinions on the curriculum. Fr. Bhaskar the head master of Don Bosco School spoke on this occasion and thanked all the parents for their participation. The meeting ended on a positive note.
