On 12th February, 2013, Don Bosco English Medium School, Punganur, organized the parent-teacher meet to create an idea of the EPC and enhance cooperation between the School and the Parents. 170 parents attended this meet. Along with Fr. M. Prakash principal of the school, Fr. Shantmurthy S., Correspondent, and Fr. Sagili Prakash, parish priest of Sivadi were present for this meet. Fr. Sagili Prakash the guest speaker addressing the parents and teachers emphasized and accentuated the fact that good education is possible only in an environment which is Happy. To educate a child, said the speaker, you need happy parents and happy teachers. Parents are suggested reflective and practical methods to be implemented for the betterment of the child in his or her growth. The day ended with a few queries forwarded to the guest speaker. Great deal of discussions was also based on preventive system of Don Bosco. It was a fruitful day with a lot of clarifications. The parents were appreciative towards for the awareness classes facilitated by the school Management and showed vigour to implement the techniques taught for the holistic development of children.
