It was a day of joy and gratitude at Our Lady of Presentation Church, Rentachintla Guntur, as Deacon Salibindla Sandeep Innareddy received the Holy Ordination to Priesthood, conferred by Rt. Rev. Dr. Chinnabathini Bhagyaiah, Bishop of Guntur.
The Solemn Holy Eucharist began at 10 a.m. in the morning with 1200 faithful 60 priests and 50 religious sisters present in Our Lady of Presentation Church, Rentachintla. The rite to Ordination with its exceptional and delicate liturgy was the most important moment of the day. The Ordaining prelate during the homily, which was interlaced with his sweet singing, reminded the candidate of the importance of the Priestly ministry in the modern world. Underlying the importance of union with Christ in prayer and meditation on the Word of God.
In the brief felicitation program, Fr Y Joji, the Vice Provincial thanked the Bishop for conferring the Holy Orders on Fr Sandeep. He also thanked the family members of the newly ordained priest, for their contribution to the Church and the Congregation. We wish deacon Sandeep a fruitful ministry in the Lord’s Vineyard.
