Fr Gopu Anand and Fr Balashowreddy along with TeachersOn 5th September the students of Don Bosco High School, Degree and PG College and the trainees of DB Tech Programme celebrated the Teachers day. The resplendently decorated Academy campus and the gentle smiles of the apprentices certainly won the hearts of the teachers. Surprising the guruwith lots of gifts and wishes had become an intrinsic ingredient of the day.
The days celebration began with a Prayer service conducted by Fr Gopu Anand the Director of Don Bosco Academy, during which, word of God from different Holy Teaching Facultybooks like Bible, Bhagavat Gita and Holy Quran was read and meditated upon. Students participated in this prayer service by gathereing around teachers and invoking God's blessings upon them. The teachers then were honoured with Don Bosco Academy Badges, and were brought in procession accompanied by the Bosco Band. Fr Gopu Anand, Fr Balashowry, the Principal of Degree and PG College and Fr Bhaskar the Head Master of the school verbalized their thoughts on the role of a teacher in student's life. They also expressed sentiments of gratitude for their relentless service, dedication, availability they show in moulding the students. Purpose driven cultural items performed by teachers motivated the students. Programme ended with the prize disturibution ceremony.
