The Sacred Heart Jesus Church Moparru, a substation of Don Bosco Mission, Patsala Tadiparru celebrated its Church Feast on 20th January. The village church was decked up with lots of colours. The festivity started off with the the Holy Eucharist by Fr. B.Rayappa the Parish Priest in the presence of Fr. Remalla Thomas the Director of Don Bosco, Mangalagiri. People of the parish and substations gathered around the alter at 1 p.m. to participate in the Eucharist celebration. Fr. Remalla Thomas in his homely invited the faithful to be united. Evening hundreds of people joined the procession carrying Christ into the streets of Moparru. The villagers with outpouring devotion welcomed the Lord and joined the procession as it went along the streets. The day's celebration concluded with a festive meal in the church premises.
