The annual Past Pupils meet was held at Don Bosco Navjeevan, Ramanthapur On 11th August 2013. There were above 70 young people present for the event, who had come from all over the districts of Andhra Pradesh. The inaugural ceremony commenced at 10:30 am. The Tollywood film actor Mr. Karthik was invited as a honorable chief guest. Indeed all the young people had a feeling of coming home and felt the warmth and love of Don Bosco. The motto of the gathering was “ Together for a meaningful future”.
Well, the day was kept active through various workshops, attractive cultural programmes and games. Rev. Fr. T.D John gave impulse on “Building up the future”, in which he emphasized how to be a effective and meaningful worker in current situation. He urged every individual not to get frightened of doing good for others in the society.
For the better functioning of initiatives and activities of Past Pupils in the State, the committee was formed by the participants. Mr Ramesh was elected as president of Past Pupils of Andhra Pradesh. Among the participants three of them were elected as governing body members for twin cities, namely Mr. Vishnu, Mr. Ganesh Rao, Mr. C.H. Rakesh and Mr. Bhash, as treasurer of the team.
The day was successfully concluded with football match organized by Rev. Fr. Sudhakar, and Mr. Rajareddy. It was time of sharing of sweet memories with one another.
