Don Bosco School, Wyra, 13 June 2020: We all live in a mathematical and in an instant world, where everything is achieved, done, or reached within no time. In this process of mathematical speculations, hypothesis and logical reasoning, Maths becomes part of ones’ own life. We cannot do away with Maths. ‘Abacus’ is a skillful and technical programme, which involves quick and effective techniques of solving mathematical problems and related issues. It improves, measures and determines one’s IQ (Intelligent Quotient).

In order to catch up the same space and the modern challenges in the process of students learning, and doing, Don Bosco School at Wyra encouraged ten members of the faculty, who attended a wonderful and effective training session of two hours on ‘ Abacus’ in Don Bosco school, Pinapaka on 13th June 2020, lead by an eminent resource person Mr Ch. Venkateshwar Rao from Hyderabad and Lakshmi Narayana, representative for Abacus company respectively.

The management of the School is launching ‘Abacus programme’ as part of extra curriculum for this academic year 2010-21. This forms as a basis for students to enter the world of Maths with confidence and later choose career in IIIT. This is immensely helpful and productive outcome of learning Maths.
