St Mary’s High School, Kollapur marked a stimulating entry in to the month of November with a ‘Musical Concert’ being performed by a band of visually challenged musicians and artists under the banner ‘Sunethra musical band’ at 10:00 am on November 1st 2012. These artists, musicians and the instrumentalists produced a great sense of joy, thrill and happiness among the students, teaching and non-teaching staff. This concert reflected the heavenly choir of angels and saints singing praises to God on this very day as the Church celebrates the feast of All Saints.
The two hour programme was absolutely amusing and entertaining. Each and every song sung and performed by the troop had a variety in capturing the hearts of the audience. The expert student dancers of our school with their dances to the musical concert added much colour. This programme taught the students not to count on the physical deformities but to count on self confidence. On the whole, this musical orchestra remains as a very memorable event in the history of St Mary’s High school.
