A scintillating piece of Orchestra performed by differently abled young men and women at Don Bosco Academy on 1st of February engulfed the academy and its students with awe and inspiration. A band of youngsters from Sneha Jyothi (a centre for the physically challenged) Bangalore had exhibited the spectacular musical Concert. Fr Anand, the director with his introductory words welcomed them warmly. The show started off with the words of St. John Bosco “Salesian house without music is like a body without soul” spoken by Fr. Balashowry, the principal indicating the importance for music in a Salesian house.
These artists, musicians and the instrumentalists produced a great sense of joy, thrill and happiness among the students, teaching and non-teaching staff. This concert reflected the heavenly choir of angels and saints singing praises to God on this very day as the Church celebrates the feast of All Saints. The hearts of the students were filled with the rhythmic beats, gorgeous melodies, and wondrous musical pieces and melodies voices produced by the blind people. Over whelmed with joy the students of the academy added their spontaneous rhythmic steps to the melodious orchestra. Everyone was inspired and carried home the message that nothing is possible to human being when hard work and efforts are made.
