The parishners of Sacred Heart Parish, Punganur were immersed in celebrating the church feast on 23rd of June, The festivity began with the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Shantha Murthy, the Parish Priest in the presence of hundreds of devotees who gathered around the altar even from neighbouring villages. Vivid examples about the history and the origin of the feast narrated by the priest grabbed the attention of the audience. The sacred Eucharistic meal was followed by the generous love meal arranged for the poor and needy of the village. A welcome word to all for this love meal received appreciation from village elders. Mr. Raja the coordinator of BSK played a vital role in planning for the event.
