We, the Navajeevan community 250 boys 165 staff and seven Salesians began our new year (2013-2014) well. Within a short time we became good friends “A real Friend is one who walks in when the rest of the World walks out” Walter Winchell. “A Friends is a present you give yourself” Robert Louis Stevenson.
Tearful farewell to Rev. Fr. S. BalaShowry :- On 26th June evening Navajeevan Hall was packed with Friends, boys, staff and their Families to thank dear Fr. Bala for his six years of selfless service. Boys gave a good cultural performance. All this six years he was kind, gentle, he gave Joy and peace to this community .
Fr. T.D John narrated an inspiring story and wished Fr. Bala all success in his new assignment at Vijayawada. We all shared a fellowship meal with staff and their families and friends.
A Grand Welcome to Rev. Fr. B Sudhakar on 28th June. Fr. Philip went to the air port to receive our New Rector Fr. B. Sudhakar. He reached Navajeevan for lunch with his mother and younger brother (who is a MSFS priest )and other close family members. Fr. Provincial came on 1st July for the installation of Fr. B. Sudhakar. In his homily he said that a leader must inspire, guide, encourage and give hope to others.
