Keeping up the good tradition and eager to share the fraternal communion, the Leaders, of the Salesian communities of Hyderabad province gathered at the Provincial House on 3rd and 4th June for sharing, planning and evaluation at the beginning of the scholastic year 2014-2015.
The meeting which started with a beautiful prayer session and a warm welcome by Fr.Balalraju, the Provincial. Fr. Maria Charles from SPCSA Delhi familiarising the confreres with the New Don Bosco Child Protection Policy. The policy which is approved by the SPCSA comes into force with immediate effect.
In the afternoon session Fr.Provincial and Fr. Thathireddy, the Vice Provincial, the two participants in the GC 27 from the province explained to the assembly the new chapter documents.
On the second day, the Holy Eucharist was celebrated by the New Priests ( Fr.Ashok, Fr.Suman and Fr.Wilson) of our Province. In the morning session the Leaders discussed on the implementation of the chapter directives in the best way possible to make the whole province better Mystics in the Spirit, more authentic Prophets of Fraternity and loving Servants of the Young.
In the afternoon, the Provincial Directory for the year 2014-2015 was discussed and approved with minor changes.
The two days of gathering saw the confreres growing in their affection for one another, coming closer to God and re-dedicating themselves to the service of the young.
