A New Ventures
The new frontiers are opened in Don Bosco Jr. College, Chandur. The New Academic year 2014-15 marked the beginning of these new ventures with its new Principal Rev.Fr. Bhaskar, college staff and the students. For the first time the college had the CPL (College Pupils Leader) and the ACPL (Assistant College Pupils Leader) elections as well as class leaders and vice-leaders OATH TAKING CEREMONY.
The program commenced with a solemn precession consisting of CPL, ACPL, and all the class Leaders with their colorful flags held and moved to the stage, meaningfully which marked the day’s specialty.
The Principal received the Oath of CPL, ACPL and all the class leaders amidst eminent personalities, the honourable Chief Guest Mr. Venkanna Garu (MPP), Rev. Fr. KK. Joseph (Rector) and Rev. Fr. Anthaiah (Administrator). The event is as significant as it is for the first time.
All the prominent people who attended this ceremony along with the staff and the students amazed at this happening and felt
proud to be part of this programme. The chief guest in his speech emphasized on the aspect of a leadership and the ability and worth of a leader in a society.
At the end the CPL and ACPL and all the staff and the students made a promise to bring glory and honour to the college as its sons and daughters. The ceremony thus ended with the cheers and happy wishes shared among all in a joyful celebration.
