Gunadala – 23 October: Don Bosco Gunadala celebrated the Deepavali in a meaningful way. The day’s activities and celebration were centered on the theme “Christ the light of the world.” Special prayers were offered for the well being of the victims of the Hudhud cyclone. Amidst the crackers blasted sounds we had candles lit in our hand and had a rosary procession.
The community members felt great joy in saving the money by forgoing the crackers to support financially the fatalities of Hudhud cyclone. Fr. Michael in his sermon envisaged how
Christ becomes a love bomb which exploded on the cross to bring salvation and light to the world. He fostered us after the Christ example, there is a great need at present in the society that we religious should become a little lamp of Christ so that we may waste not a single moment to light the other lamps and to fill the world with the light of Christ.
