Hyderabad – 21 October: THE JOURNEY – The release of the Semi Documentary film which is produced by the St. Joseph Province of Hyderabad. The Concept of vocation is often at the heart of religious experience. The way of life seeks to remedy this oversight and to outline a sane alternative to the more questionable version of the idea of vocation found at the popular level.
Produced by the Salesians Province of Hyderabad, which geographically includes the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, the project was co-ordinated by its commission for social communications, headed by Fr. Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, and ably supported by Fr. Lingampalli Ashok and Fr. Kalyan Kumar who mooted the idea in the first place.
The Journey is a story of a young man who responds to the call of Jesus, dedicating his life to work for poor and abandoned young following Don Bosco. Nothing could deter him from pursuing his passion to serve. In doing so he inspires others to live their dream.
