A two day seminar was conducted for all the Practical trainees and student brothers, on the theme ‘Being a religious today: changer, challenger and choicer’, on 25th and 26th January at Don Bosco Provincial house, Hyderabad.
Mr. Leo Fernandez, the manager of the Talent ease institution has animated the first day of the seminar. Being in the corporate Sector, his reflections made a lot of impact in the meeting.
He said that the religious life is facing with many changes. Challenges from within and outside. The changes in social life like the Speed of information and multiple options have opened the windows for better life. The question that remains in front each one of us is, can we be authentic in our relationships, activities and in life.
“One should learn to become a sign value for others rather than merely following the religious duties and orders”.
His motivational stories, methods and talks were inspiring and an eye opening to the participants. He emphasized that, “Spending 20 minutes in silent meditation daily twice in a day makes person deep rooted in one’s belief system”.
Many hands were raised during the sessions to clarify some of the questions. “All the sessions are very motivative and reflective. Some of the points are very new and challenging to implement in life.
20 brothers who have participated in the seminar expressed their appreciation to Mr. Leo, the animator especially for his professionalism in taking classes. They also expressed their gratitude to Fr. Provincial and Vice Provincial for animating the second day secession.
