Don Bosco Academy, Nalgonda not only scaling greater heights in Academic field, it also engaged in skilling the drop outs and unemployed youth in and around Nalgonda district through DB Tech Skill training programme. Thousands of youth were given training in different skills (Electrical, Hotel Management, Retail and marketing) for past five years.
At present we have two domains (Electrical and Hotel Management) with 80 students. On 16 February Fr. P. Arul Das, DB Tech, Province Incharge had visited DB Tech Centre in Nalgonda, had interaction with Fr. Vatti Balashowreddy, DB Centre Head, with Staff and with the students. Fr.P.Aru Das emphasized to the students about the skill development and its Importance. He quoted, “It is the inner strength that motivates a person; and skill development means to develop inner strength as the outer strength usually crashes a person”. He said that if a balloon is filled with air, it will rise high but if the air is blown from outside, the balloon will fall down. The present two batches went for OJI (On Job Training) electrical batch in Hyderabad and Hospitality batch in Hotel Seven at Suryapeta. The DB Tech Centre at Nalgonda is well organized under able guidance Fr. Gopu Anand, the Rector and Fr.Vatti Balashowreddy, Principal and DB Tech Centre Incharge.
