Manoharabad, 24, May 2015: “Witnesses to Christ, Like Don Bosco” with this motto seventeen young Novices stepped ahead to say Yes to the Lord. The province of Hyderabad is blessed with seventeen spirit filled Salesians in this Bi-centenary year of Don Bosco, 2015. It was indeed really a remarkable day in the history of St. Joseph Province of Hyderabad. Fr Raminedi Balaraju, the Provincial presided over the Holy Eucharist and the newly appointed Vice Provincial Fr Yeruva Joji Reddy and the Counselors, the priests, local religious and the well wishers took part in this celebration.
Fr. Provincial in his homily highlighted on Vows, on Missionary Vocation, exemplary life of Don Bosco and the assistance of Mother Mary in the lives of
every Salesians. Melodious Voices of the newly professed Salesians added life to the Liturgy. With grateful heart, Fr Kannadipara Matthew, the Novice Master thanked Lord for these seventeen young great men and also thanked the gathering present for the celebration. With loving hearts the newly professed expressed their gratitude and joy for the prayers and wishes. Finally this great celebration of joy ended with solemn breakfast. The twin feasts namely; the Pentecost and the Feast of Mary Help of Christians added colour to this day.
