DB Tech, 5-6 June, 2015: The National DB Tech Commission (Governing Body) meeting held on 5-6 June, 2015 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Delhi. Fr Jose Mathew, the provincial of Delhi Province, the President of DB Tech Governing Body presided over the meeting along with Fr Albert Johnson, the provincial of Tiruchy province, the Vice-President of DB Tech. Fr A.M.Jose, the Executive Director of DB Tech had presented to all the DB Tech Province representatives the status of DB Tech.
The following are the important points discussed in the meeting: Understanding DB Tech (origin, function, process, management, etc), Status of Programmes under DB Tech, ‘Skilling India’ for Salesian Youth Ministry, Challenges and Opportunities, Skill Mission Bengaluru – Status and Programmes and way forward – Planning for DB Tech. Indeed, it’s a great joy for us Salesian India, we have trained 2 lakhs youngsters in different domains and job placed, true to Don Bosco’s Vision. From the Salesian Province of Hyderabad, Fr P.Arul Das, the Delegate and In-charge of DB Tech in the Province participated in the two day meeting.
