Ramanthapur, 2015: A group of 28 youngsters keeping aside their routine life of office works, came to Don Bosco Navajeevan Rehabilitation Centre, Ramanthapur to spend and to share their joy and happiness with our children. It was another colourful day in the lives of DBNJ children. Accenture company came forward to spend their weekend with our children by doubling their joy and happiness.
They were enthused to see our children who are sparkling with life and enthusiasm. As it was said a Salesian house without music is like the body without soul so our children welcomed the youngsters with melodious piece of band for which they really taken up giving standing ovation to the Bosco band boys and thrilled to receive the warm welcome for the first time of this sort.
After little interaction with our children they went round the campus showing all the trades that our children are learning starting with bakery, welding, electrical, carpentry, tailoring and printing press. Youngster are surprised to see ample of opportunities given to the boys to be skillful to face the life as it comes, and they admired by the work of Salesian fathers and staff who have been moulding future citizens of society.
Then the time for fun and games was started. Our children amused them with their outstanding performances of cultural programmes during which Fr Sudhakar the Rector of the house gave message to the gathering , explaining to them, how street children are brought in to our campus and motivating them to learn the trades that they are interested in . He also mentioned that fathers and staff are very grateful to the ACCENTURE Company and all the youngsters who came to spend their time with our children, he wished them all the best for their many more visits and assured our prayerful support.
Youngsters who came conducted games of fun & enjoyment, not only conducting but also took part along with them and played, after that they surprised the children with the eye-catching gifts for everyone. After the running, jumping and playing our children felt that rats are running up and down in their stomachs, for the children surprise they found delicious meals arranged in the dining hall, they could not wait any longer and started to celebrate the day with joy.
After the sumptuous meals they had chit chat with the children sharing happy moments and jokes making every boy to realize that he is lucky to be part of this Don Bosco family. At last DBNJ thanked all of them for showing their love and concern towards DBNJ children.
