Canonical Visitation of the Provincial @ DB Academy, Nalgonda

Don Bosco Academy, 2015: The whole academy rallied around Fr. Ramenedi Balaraju, the Provincial Superior as he visited the Don Bosco Academy, Nalgonda on 2^nd and 3^rd November 2015, for the annual visitation. Fr. Anand, the Rector and the other members of the community extended a warm welcome to the Provincial. It was also a beautiful coincidence to have the inauguration of the 8^th District level Inter-School Cricket tournament organized in honor of Don Bosco’s Bicentenary celebrations on the same day. There are 30 teams, comprising 450 students competing in this tournament from different schools of Nalgonda district. Shri Viswanath Rao, The District Educational Officer and Fr. Balaraju SDB the Provincial had declared the tournament “open”.

Fr. Provincial’s presence in the community brought a new life and enthusiasm. Father visited all the departments and met all the members of the staff. Well organized cultural programs were put up in honor of Fr. Provincial. He met all the confreres and looked into every detail of the house. His fatherly company and warm approach made us feel the grace he carried to us in the name of Don Bosco. Father in his concluding report asked the community to possess a great passion for the young and personal sanctification.
