Gunadala, 1 December 2015: The Provincial Community Day celebration was held on 1st December, 2015 at Don Bosco, Gunadala, Vijayawada. The Commissions and Animation Centre Heads meeting was held in the morning for a Mid-year evaluation, assessment was done with the Commission heads. The presentation on the deliberations of the Provincial Chapter IX was discussed.
Fr. Thomas Santiagu animated a sharing session that was held in the afternoon for all the confreres who came to participate in the Provincial Community Day celebrations. Confreres were able to share their experiences of support and understanding they received in the communities when they needed most. The Volley Ball and Basket Ball Match between Salesians and Aspirants made confreres to get back to their aspirantate days.
The Holy Eucharist celebration was presided over by Fr. Provincial and followed by the felicitations to the Provincial and his council. Fr. Vatti Balashowry, in his homily focused on the community life and the togetherness. He focused on the challenge lies in making adjustments by keeping aside our ego and personal interests. 
During the felicitation programme various neighbouring communities performed and honored the guests. Fr. Provincial appreciated all the Provincial Council members for their close collaboration and support in the animation and governance of the Province. The hard work of Fr. Vatti Rayappa, Rector and Confreres, Pre-novices and aspirants for making the day a memorable one.
